A Little Encouragement for The Moms TodayPosted by KM Logan on Sep 13, 2013 in Blog Posts, Grace, Lessons From Being a Mom, Strength | 2 comments
It’s no secret so many moms are insecure.
Wait I’m the only mom whose insecure?!
Phew, I’m glad you are too, at times. Like on the nights when you give your kids frozen waffles because the thought of just dirtying another pan makes you ill.
I’ve been having one of those insecure weeks, maybe it’s monthly hormones, (I apologize to any possible man who may be reading this but you are on a quite chicky blog after all) maybe it’s the fact that my whole family (except my husband, lucky dog) has been sick, or maybe it’s just the worry that comes with losing a paycheck I was expecting for the fall. but I’ve been stressed, worried, and terribly insecure this past week. (Okay that may have been the longest sentence in the history of long sentences but my brain is fried and I don’t feel like re-wording it.)
On the backdrop of so much stress my eyes are taking turns twitching, worry and personal insecurity this is what my husband said to me this morning:
You’re the only person in the house who doesn’t think you’re the best mom in the world.
So be encouraged mama. I have a feeling that if that previous statement is true for me it’s probably true for you too.
Be blessed today and if you’re reading this I’m praying for you.
